Dry cat food

Dry cat food, or kibble, is a very practical food solution for owners. Easy to store, it also allows for self-service, an option often appreciated by cats who prefer to eat small amounts throughout the day. Kibble is designed to cover the nutritional needs of felines, offering a balance of proteins, lipids, vitamins and minerals adapted to each stage of their life. Good quality kibble generally contains a high proportion of animal proteins, essential for the well-being of cats, which are strict carnivores. It also provides fiber to support digestion as well as fatty acids beneficial for the skin and coat. Some kibble even includes specific components to promote urinary and dental health, two key elements for the health of cats. Kibble also offers an advantage for oral health: by chewing it, the cat limits the formation of plaque and tartar, which contributes to good dental hygiene. However, due to their low water content, dry food does not help with hydration, making it essential to encourage people to drink enough to compensate for this lack.
